Bacco, Trattoria and Mozzarella Bar

Here is another great little neighborhood restaurants: Bacco Trattoria & Mozzarella Bar.

Bacco is a "neat" little eating place, easy to get to riding buses or bikes, with off-street parking around the corner.

It is a great place to stop in to enjoy a small plate and a glass of wine on the way home, (if you live in North Boulder) or a destination restaurant for a special meal with authentic Italian flavor.

They make their own fresh mozzarella, and have a deli case with Italian specialties, and amazing pizza you can eat in or order "to-go." They also feature a wide selection of wines by the glass.

Bacco can also accommodate larger parties in a private back room.

But how is the food?

Just look at this small plate. (below)

This is the "Mazza" plate: Bacco's hand crafted Fior di Latte mozzarella paired with sliced golden beets, perfectly dressed with extra-virgin olive oil and seasoning, on a bed of mixed greens. This melts in your mouth, and is worth slowing down and savoring with a glass of wine.

Bacco is another fun place to "Wander" to. Be sure to check out their menu on their web-site.
